ME 208 ? Typo for ME 108 ? I did not realise that the ME 108 had a nosewheel ? If the ME 108 had a nose wheel, why did not the ME 109. ???
Is that the original engine from the Typhun ? Looks Francaise to moi ……
I guess this French copy may have been war reparations : pity about that, the Russians got the Focke Wulf / Mig 15. Still, the Brits were offered the Volkswagen, and turned it down. They did take the BMW six cylinder two litre though, and Bristol must have sold, oh, hundreds of those ….. The Yanks took my uncle, Werner Von Braun ……
Not a typo, the Me 108 is a taildragger, whereas the Me 208 had a trike undercarriage, which was the way to go, but I think those with the little rear wheel looks better even though they can and do bite.
Well, we learn something new every day ….
